His eyes opened a little wider as we got close to the bikes, and as soon as I picked up a trike a put it in the cart his little hands started clapping like mad and he yelled out "BIKE, BIKE!" We went straight home to perform the necessary test drive, which happened around the kitchen. The trike met, and definitely exceeded Wyatt's expectations, and he even cried when we made him come inside, but his little nose and hands were as red as cherries! The trike already has some miles on it and he hasn't even learned how to use the pedals!
We've also decided to venture into the world of potty training. We've dabbled here before, but nothing serious, so now that he is showing a lot of the readiness signs we figured it's time to give it a go. So today we bought him his first underwear. Justin immediately told him it was a hat, so Wyatt put it on the appropriate body part.

Darn daddys make things harder sometimes. haha. Now Wyatt will be confused where the underwear really goes! :) Sariah sometimes shows interest in the potty but sometimes doesn't. We are scared to push her but when she does sit on the potty nothing happens. My timing must be off. haha. Oh well, this is a good time to start but not worry too much about it. I know my mom tried potty training Paula too early and it actually caused physical problems like constipation (since she wasn't ready). I hope to have her potty trained by the time or while we are in Fairbanks though! It might help to have outside influences like cousins, grandmas and grandpas!
congratulations on the new wheels!
he is so darned cute--love the pic with him in his hat..and all the rest of them as well
cute with the underwear...best not to get caught up in the details...like where they actually go :)
What a great bike, Wyatt is so cute! Good luck with the potty training! What are some of the signs he's showing? Jacob's very interested in the potty and likes to sit on it, but he's never actually gone when he's on there yet. I've heard tons of different methods on potty training, but haven't decided which one I'll try yet. I'd love helpful tips, thanks:)
Cute bike, but even cuter boy! Good luck with the potty training!
